Love Sock Company Launches Kickstarter Campaign to Promote Sales of Premium Quality Organic Socks
Company designs eco-friendly organic socks of premium quality for men and women.
Potomac, MD, October 27, 2017 – The Love Sock Company will launch its Kickstarter campaign on October 27. A family-owned business based in Maryland, the company produces socks with exciting original designs that are made from Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified organic cotton. This cotton is grown without pesticides or chemicals and the socks are manufactured in Europe where the workers receive fair wages and have reasonable working hours, sadly something of an exception in the garment industry.
“Our goal is for customers to enjoy organic socks with premium quality, design and comfort that are also affordable and ecologically friendly,” says co-founder Ipek S.
The Kickstarter campaign will offer 14 different options for pledges; for example, a customer pledging $27 would receive three pairs of organic socks, presented in a luxurious gift box and shipped free of charge within the United States. Customers in Canada will need to pay for shipping but will receive a free ‘surprise’ pair of socks to compensate for their shipping fees. Kickstarter discounts can reach 50%; the bigger the pledge, and package ordered, the bigger the discount.
The Love Sock Company uses only the softest, certified organic cotton and the socks are woven with 200 needles (the highest gauge for socks), resulting in fine socks that are nonetheless strong, due to the density of the stitching. Additionally, the socks are naturally odor-resistant, helping feet to stay healthy, and are also perfect for allergy sufferers as they have no toxic residues.
